The Valori Accelerator Package for Pega contains features that help Pega testers to accelerate tests and make them more efficient. The package will provide ‘reusable’ TestStepBlocks for handling generic Pega actions. The package also includes pre-prepared modules and test cases to test generic Pega functionalities, manuals and factsheets on how to test Pega application with Tricentis Tosca.
To make automated tests more efficient, the test can use the API instead of the GUI. Because API tests are more reliable, faster and robust. With Pega 7, PegaSystems provides the Pega API, a set of built-in REST services for Pega applications. The first release of the accelerator package contains the Minimal Loveable Product (MLP). A set of modules of the most important and used services. This set is based on best practices from our Pega testers. The modules are provided with some example test cases which show you how you can exactly use the services to create your own tests.
Generic Pega Test Cases, Modules and reusable TestStepBlocks
Different Pega applications contain a lot of common screen elements. The package will contain already build generic modules, testcases and reusable TestStepBlock which you can easily use for your own Pega application.
