Own platform for software code analysis

Continuous quality control of software development is crucial for successful digital transformation. Whether it concerns reducing technical debt, increasing development speed, or reducing costs. Omnext has been specialized in software code analysis for 20 years, and developed its own software analysis platform: Omnext Fit Test. This platform offers developers and IT managers real-time independent and objective insight into the quality and technical risks of their applications. Omnext Fit Test supports over 40 different technologies including low-code platforms OutSystems and Mendix.

Unique end-to-end quality solution

With the combination of software code analysis from Omnext and Valori as the independent number 1 in QA & Testing, a unique end-to-end quality solution is created for customers.

Jaap Merkus, CEO of Valori, sees Omnext’s low-code analysis capability as the key to unique added value for customers. “Low-code platforms give organizations a substantial advantage in terms of development speed. Unfortunately, in practice we often see the downside of this speed. Due to the speed of development, quality is lost sight of, and technical debt is unintentionally built up. Omnext’s unique proposition fits in perfectly with Valori’s ambition to support customers with the incorporation of quality into low-code development processes and in this way to fulfil the promise of low-code. Omnext therefore complements our Building IT Quality vision”.

Jaco de Vries, CEO of Omnext, agrees that the speed at which software is built today, and with it the amount of software that is being used, has made unprecedented leaps. “With the arrival of low-code platforms such as OutSystems and Mendix, the amount of software that is being realized and the speed at which this is happening has increased to unprecedented levels. Because organizations are increasingly dependent on low-code applications, their technical and functional quality has become an important item on the CIO’s agenda. The Omnext-Valori combination offers us the opportunity to make Software Quality Assurance for our customers more complete and their software even more future-proof.”

Holland Capital has been involved in Valori as a shareholder since 2019. She actively supports management in the strategic development of the company. Ewout Prins, managing partner Holland Capital, about the transaction: “With its many years of expertise and driven team, Omnext is a valuable acquisition in Valori's buy-and-build strategy. We see many substantive synergies for both companies.”
